Trust Your Gut - campaign video
Cheyenne Tozzi and Tahyna MacManus, together with their mother, Yvonne Tozzi, have thrown their support behind national bowel cancer charity, Jodi Lee Foundation, to help empower Australians to take active steps in the early detection and prevention of bowel cancer – and to have a conversation with their GP if they experience any symptoms at any age.
The family share their story to raise awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer and to urge all Australians to have a conversation which could prove lifesaving.
At the age of 42, Australian model Yvonne Tozzi experienced severe stomach cramps, which is a symptom of bowel cancer. Trusting her gut and speaking with her doctor when she first noticed the cramps saved her life.
“What saved my life was listening to my instinct. Knowing I had to get it checked out."
Bowel cancer is Australia’s second biggest cancer killer.
Regardless of your age if you’re experiencing any of the following symptoms please see your GP immediately.
• Unexplained tiredness or weight loss
• Stomach pain
• Blood in your poo, bleeding from your bottom or blood in the toilet bowl
• A change in bowel habits for more than two weeks (such as going to the toilet more frequently, constipation or loose or watery bowel movements)
A full list of symptoms can be found at:

Please 'trust your gut'.
It just might save your life.
